Ficus Alii Braided Bio
Ficus Alii is an evergreen of the beloved Ficus family, native to India, Southeast Asia, and Malaysia. Its Journey to our indoor spaces began in Hawaii, where it was donned the name Alii - ‘king’. The royal Ficus Alii wears slender, willow-like leaves that sprout in hues of bronze at first, then turn emerald green as it matures.
Light Instructions
Ficus Alii grows best in a space with bright indirect light, where the sun rays are diffused, and can also adapt to spaces with bright direct light, where the sunlight streams inside directly. Avoid placing it in spaces with low light or spaces without natural sunlight.

Ficus Alii Braided Care
During your Ficus Alii’s first few days at home, one or two leaves may wilt, and should be cut. This is a normal part of adjustment and no cause for concern. When choosing its location, be sure it is not facing direct drafts from A/C and heating vents.
Once adjusted, Ficus Alii is very easy to care for, and will reward your love for it by quickly bouncing back from any mishap.
To help it grow optimally and evenly, occasionally dust the leaves and rotate the pot by a ¼ turn once a month. To maintain its aesthetic shape and height, you may periodically prune it to your liking.
