easyplant’s packaging has built-in wheels to make moving the box around easy. Just roll the box close to where you plan to place the tree, cut the safety straps, and remove the four protective corner pieces. Pull out both sides of the box, leaving only the bottom part of the box around the pot. Then, roll the tree to its final spot and unfold the bottom part of the box. Remove the protective shrink and fill the reservoir with water. Watch the unboxing tutorial.
Fill the reservoir once a month. The self-watering system holds up to 2 gallons of water, keeping the roots perfectly hydrated for weeks at a time - just refill monthly and enjoy your thriving tree.
easyplant’s packaging is designed for easy handling and protection. Each tree arrives in a large wheeled box that fits through standard doors. The box measures around 19" wide × 19" long × 81" tall, keeping your tree safe and upright in transit. Once unboxed, easyplant trees stand around 6.5-7 feet tall, including the self-watering pot, which measures 18" in diameter and 16.5" tall.
The shipping box has built-in wheels and multiple grips, making it easy to move it around without heavy lifting - simply grab the handles, tilt the box, and roll it to your desired spot. If you’d like to move the tree after unboxing, we recommend two people for any big moves, and only moving the tree when the reservoir is empty (as the water adds extra weight).
Yes, your tree will continue to grow slowly once it settles into its new space. Some varieties may also develop aerial roots - visible roots that extend from the trunk or branches. These are completely natural and show that your tree is healthy and thriving. You can leave them as they are or gently guide them back toward the soil if you prefer a tidier look.
Our trees are designed for indoor spaces. They thrive in more stable light and climate conditions, which outdoor environments don’t provide. To keep your tree healthy and happy, enjoy it inside your home. Please note, we cannot guarantee support for outdoor use.
